Props for the various color options doe, Pink Bahamut FTW. I should dive back in again and replay for upgrade points, but it sucks that it doesn't appear that upgrade points are shared among the characters at all and each character must be played as to unlock upgrades for them. I don't think I've ever beaten this game before, but it is a game that one would feel euphoric for being able to beat it unscathed or with losing only a few lives or hit points. I think a lot of the Console Downloadable games would be just as at home on. Gameplay-wise, the game will be difficult for first timers to get accustomed to, and may require multiple replays to get better at it, especially since playing better earns you more points to unlock upgrades, and there are a lot of upgrades. Its PSN and XBLA but not owning those systems or liking to lock a game I buy to a single System would love to see this Arc System reinvention of Contra come to the PC and I could see no better way than bringing it to GOG. It was developed by Arc Systems and features their trademark 2D sprites and metal soundtrack, composed by Based Daisuke Ishiwatari. Releasing first to the Xbox 360 then a month later on PSN, Hard Corps Uprising is considered part of the Contra series.
